Directions to the Charlotte Fire Department Training Academy:
From the south, traveling on I-85. Take I-85 North to Exit 33, Billy Graham Parkway. Turn right off of ramp and proceed to West Blvd. Make a right on West Blvd. and proceed to the traffic light, and make a left onto Yorkmont Rd. Travel Yorkmont to the next traffic light and turn right onto Beam Rd. Travel Beam Rd. approx. 2 miles and the training facility will be on your left hand side.
From the North, traveling I-85. Take I-85 South to Exit 33, Billy Graham Parkway. Turn left off of the ramp and proceed to West Blvd. Make a right on West Blvd. and proceed to the traffic light, and make a left onto Yorkmont Rd. Travel Yorkmont to the next traffic light and turn right onto Beam Rd. Travel Beam Rd. approx. 2 miles and the training facility will be on your left hand side. Or you can get off on I-77 and follow directions below.
From the South, traveling I-77. Take I-77 North to Exit 5, Tyvola Rd. Turn left onto Tyvola Rd. and travel to the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto S.Tryon St. Turn right at the Shopton Rd. traffic light, there will be a sign for the Fire and Police Training Academy on the corner, and the facility will be on your right.
From the North, traveling I-77. Take I-77 South to Exit 5, Tyvola Rd. Turn Right onto Tyvola Rd. and travel to the 2nd traffic light, turn left onto S.Tryon St. Turn right at the Shopton Rd. traffic light, there will be a sign for the Fire and Police Training Academy on the corner
